The only hate I've seen publicly lately has been spewed from Dupednics mouth using the Giffords tragedy to criticize the people who want him to his job. It was an act done by crazy dude that PCC police didn't do their job and get him off the streets.

This is what I don't understand. I voted for Jesse Kelly. Despite my vote, Giffords still won. As a result, she was shot and people were killed. I am blaming the Tea Party for their pathetic attempt to oust Giffords. You, as a representative of the Tea Party for Tucson should be ashamed. So many other seats in the country was taken by the GOP but yet this S. AZ tea party group failed not once but twice in allowing the incumbent democrats to retain their seats. Wow, they sure got censored as they moved down, didn't they? ;-) The majority KNOW Tea Partiers are a bunch of white good-old-boy redneck low-IQ uneducated racist gun nuts who spew lies and distorted rhetoric with their disgusting signs at rallies and hate talk, and Sarah and the like tells them to take aim with their weapons at targets. How much more clear could you be? Let us for a moment consider the motives why the statist left has selected the Tea Party as the scape goat for the atrocious murders that for all what is known have been committed by a deranged loner.

For the first time in decades America has elected an administration in 2008 that is profoundly driven by principles. The entire agenda of this administration is consistently pursuing statist ideals in their relentless attacks on individual liberties. Their attacks on free speech, gun rights, the takeover of entire industries like the banks, the auto industry, health care is a matter of record. All this is aimed on constructing a system of total dependence of the citizenry on the Government's handouts. There is a daily barrage of outrageous claims coming out of Washington all aimed at abridging the unalienable rights of Americans to their own lives, liberty and the pursuit of their own happiness. Obama himself has repeatedly characterized these rights as mere promises to what he calls 'law abiding citizens'. The definition what this means is cleverly evaded as only those who follow his Hope and Change agenda seem to qualify to be considered in the promise.

It is no accident that such consistent relentless attacks on the fabric of America elicit a principled response by patriotic Americans by referring back to the Founding Principles of the Nation. The name of the Tea Party by itself is quite telling as it ties the connection to another time in our history, when our individual rights were under attack. Americans are proud self reliant individuals and abhor dictatorship introduced either by force or ill-advised compromise. Patriotic Americans are good people, the best in the world, and their benevolence is overflowing and known throughout the world. (I can say that as I was not born here, but I am an American by choice and conviction.)

Thank God for the Tea Party! It is the only bulwark against the establishment of abject tyranny in America. This is the power of ideas and they can be defended only by by a firm stand on the principles of individual rights as expressed in the agenda of the Tea Party. The Left knows this very well. That is why they try to tag the Tea Party with every ill in the Nation, even the actions of a deranged alleged mass murderer.

The Tea Party is a shining beacon to the world that the Founding Principles of the Nation are alive and well.

Isn't is absurd that those who aren't Tea Party members haven't a clue as to who we are or what are OUR principles are. Tea Party members are the most peaceful, kind hearted people in this country. Keep strong, Tucson Tea Party, and all those opposing the unconstitutional expansion of government, and its over-spending.

Lefties should stop and think. Our founders gave us a democratic republic, and protected free speech, specifically to PREVENT the excesses of tyranny that would otherwise result in physical violence -- violence from either a government or a rebellion, that lacked such checks and balances. But these cannot stop a lone madman, and we are all saddened and horrified by Saturday's unrelated events. (Note: I agree with another post that "condemned" would be far more appropriate than the meager "not to be condoned".)

The Tea Party is about ideas, about changing specific policies based on historical and economic realities. We welcome good ideas from any political party. Most of the voices from the left today are sadly not about ideas, not about facts, but about hatred, innuendo, and partisan propaganda. And more importantly, it is sad for all of us, left and right and middle, that our legislative leaders in DC have so dismally failed in THEIR DUTY to HOST the national debate -- in a sensible and factual way, that constructively informs the public, and yields sensible and practical solutions. Instead they leave it to conservatives and liberals to debate in the streets! Let's hope we see MORE DEBATE IN CONGRESS -- more fact-based, sensible, bipartisan debate, be it heated or or not, and let's listen to sensible ideas, from wherever they come. I just read about the threats of violence aimed at the Tucson Tea Party in general and Trent Humphries in particular. This is normal behavior for those on the left and is, of course, ignored by the lame stream media.

I support the work of the Tucson Tea Party in it's effort to keep people informed about issues of importance to the future of a free, democratic and prosperous Tucson.

I don't suppose it's possible that your liberal sheriff and local law enforcement will be investigating the threats against the Tucson Tea Party since they didn't follow up on the obvious danger that Jared Loughner posed to the community. But then, it seems he was one of their own...a nutcase liberal.

Thanks for not censoring these comments from the left. We need to be respectful of their Constitutional rights, just because that's who we are.

As a retired American warrior I served to protect and defend the Constitution of these great United States. It gives us all the right and responsibility to speak out and to do what we believe is best for our country. We each get one vote and must use it. We must never again be intimidated or silenced by threats, foreign or domestic.

They accuse the President of the United States of lying about his citizenship when there is no basis for the accusations whatsoever.
