Democrats On The Run To Create Counter Protest

The Pima County Democratic Party is organizing a COUNTER-PROTEST set for the same time as our protest tomorrow. In their message, they call the Tucson Tea Party “an extremist organization whose mission is to promote the far-right wing’s agenda and to support candidates who have fallen tragically out of touch with the values of mainstream Arizonans.”

See the message here.

This just goes to show that they are desperate and have no idea what is about to hit them over the head. They are scared that the Tea Party movement is mobilizing thousands of conservatives and libertarians against them just in Pima County alone.

20 ACORN protesters used to be the old benchmark of success for them — no more. Now they’ll actually have to prove that they have real support when confronted by Tea Partiers standing outside Giffords’ office!

Are you feeling extreme? Then go out to Giffords’ office tomorrow from 4-6 and let’s show them that we won’t back down from a challenge! The silent majority will always have the numbers and they will see that tomorrow!

    Enough is enough everybody!

Below is a email I sent to Mr. Kinsley at the Tucson Dem HQ

Look forward to seeing everyone at “Gabby’s” office the 17th of July

    Mr. Kinsley

My name is James Karten, I am a registered Independent.

I take great offense in your characterization of the Tucson Tea Party as extremist. Anything could be further from the truth. I am a family man, respected member of the business community, am vocal, I vote and I am willing to organize.

As a “reformed” and recovering Dem, I see so clearly the fallacies you and our local representatives are promulgating. I need only to go back to my college and high school texts to know to what form of Government you are leading us.

I believe fully in a responsible form of health care for all citizens regardless of ability to pay. I do not support your tactic of ramming legislation in a bums rush without reading the bills, letting the American People see the legislation, or allowing the minority party to introduce alternate legislation.

I am deeply offended that we, the American people have been cheated out of representative government. Instead of posting legislation for us to see, its done in the dark of the night. We are not listened to, we are dismissed and called extremists, all because we demand that you, our congressional representatives lobby us, the American people, instead of each other for trade off in votes.

    2010 cannot come soon enough.

    James Karten

I called Mr. Kinsley too and wrote the following. So far, no response from the coward.

    Mr. Kinsey,

I called your office today, but was told “you were unavailable”. I left a message for a return call.

I would like to discuss why I am being referred to as a “right-wing extremist” on your website, simply because I am exercising my right as a taxpayer to speak out and/or protest against the policies and decisions of my government representatives.

    Best regards,

    Scott Freiman
